I found this little fun guy on my way today. He's perhaps not the most beautiful of fungi, but the light fascinated me and the dew made the grass glisten. It's nice to stop and admire the small things in life sometimes :)

Ah, but then the sun wouldn't light up the foreground so beautifully and contrast the fungi against grass in the shadow behind it ;) Also, I would get distracting blades of grass in the shot (I already cloned away some).

DeleteThe mysterious mushrooms, I love them in autumn. Around here it's a good year for the big ones.I find myself mushroom hunting as well these days, especially the very little ones jus peeping out from the moss. Not much luck yet.
ReplyDeleteMy pc sort of crashed this morning and on my laptop this looks harsher & brighter than I would guess from early morning light.
This year has been a "mushroom year" here in Sweden, apparently they grow like crazy all over the place. My mother in law picked a lot last week and was kind enough to give a lot of them away to Mr and me. I love shrooms!
